A Tribe Called Judah opens the box office battle week with strong numbers
In what is to be the blockbuster week in Nollywood this December, Funke Akindele’s anticipated film A Tribe Called Judah held its premiere on Sunday, 10th December at IMAX Film House cinema.
The event featured different actors, celebrities, influencers in the entertainment industry all resplendent in their angelic themed outfits. This is Akindele’s third rodeo in a row and she's expected to dominate - as usual - the box office in numbers and experience.
It is now showing in cinemas and early box office numbers indicate strong revenue for opening week.

Mercy Aigbe’s Ada Omo Daddy proves ready for a sizeable share of the box office
Aigbe makes her debut journey as an executive producer on her highlights anticipated film Ada Omo Daddy which held its premiere on Tuesday, 12th December.
Notable figures in the industry were equally present at the colorful occasion which further set the tone for the movie’s release. It is now available in cinemas.

2023 film search rankings by Nigerians
Nigerian film search ranking analytics according to Google is out. Jade Osiberu’s Gangs of Lagos was the most searched film while Dimeji Ajibola’s Shanty Town was number one on the list of the top 10 most searched TV shows.
