Later the likes of ndani.tv and Red TV caught viewers with their shiny set-in-Lagos series.
Now the love and vigour are renewed.
YouTube Nollywood is garnering acclaim for many reasons which establish the fact that it is here to stay. However, through the multitude of channels and films available on YouTube, it is possible to feel overwhelmed by where and how to get started. Not anymore. These are the channels to go for enjoyable Nollywood films on YouTube.
Uduak Isong TV
One of the earliest channels to bring Nollywood films to YouTube, Uduak Isong TV is home to several romcoms including the iconic Selina, featuring Daniel Etim Effiong and Bimbo Ademoye, who won an AMVCA for her role as the titular Selina.
The channel, which is founded by veteran producer Uduak Isong, is also home to films featuring both actors together and separately, and other actors like Uzror Arukuwe, Mofe Duncan, Teniola Aladese, and a range of new actors.

Her channel, which has over two million subscribers is one of the first YouTube channels to consistently push out Nollywood films on the platform. RuthKadiri247 stands out for its style of films, particularly in its approach to romantic stories.
Moreso, the channel consistently targets the young adult audience who happen to be a large chunk of the YouTube user demographic. Every other week, new films are uploaded on the Ruth Kadiri’s channel — sometimes, even twice a week.
